Monitoring Program on Seabed Marine Litter

Marine Litter

On behalf of the Norwegian Environment Agency, a proposal was developed for a monitoring program on marine litter on the seabed. The project was led by the Institute of Marine Research, with SALT and Runde Research contributing.

SALT was responsible for conducting power analyses of various monitoring designs, in order to determine the magnitude of changes in litter composition and levels that can be reliably detected using the proposed monitoring designs.
