Salmar Salmon Center, Molde

Coastal Development

Knowledge sharing is at the core of SALT’s work, and we have extensive experience in developing exhibitions. In 2023, Salmar opened its new Visitor Center in Molde. The center is packed with interactive installations, analog knowledge displays, and activities for children.

Here, visitors can explore the history, development, and challenges of the aquaculture industry—either on their own or with the guidance of a visitor host. With its central location on the town square in Molde, and just a 15-minute RIB boat trip away from a closed fish farming facility, the center offers a comprehensive and engaging visitor experience.

SALT served as both project manager and content provider for the exhibition.
