Preventing loss of fishing gear parts and net cuttings from fisheries in Arctic

Marine Litter

SALT has been assigned to assess the premises and potential development of a Fishing Gear Management Plan adopted to fisheries in the Arctic with the objective of reducing the loss of fishing gear and prevent marine pollution associated with fishing activities. It is part of broader international efforts under IMO to address marine litter from commercial fishing operations.
