Brita Staal
Senior Advisor and Head of International Development

Brita holds a Master Degree (MSc) in International Development Management, with specialization in sustainability, compliance and risk management. As head of the international development in SALT, she leads the international projects, and also work as a senior advisor and analyst within sustainable development, climate risk & mitigation strategies.

Brita has extensive experience as sustainability manager and has held management roles within the field for global companies. She also has professional experience from international aid- and development work and Norwegian Foreign Affairs. She has broad experience with sustainability policies and frameworks, and documented training and experience with ISO 9001/14001/26000, environmental/impact assessments, compliance systems BSCI / ICTI/SA 8000 and reporting through GRI 4/CDP. Brita is also an accredited and experiences consultant within the framework Future Fit®. Lastly, she is a trained Climate Reality Leader and volunteers as President for the climate organisation Protect Our Winters Europe.
